Ziro is a web-based digital artwork that renders the current time as a binary clock: six columns of light and dark dots reading hours, minutes, and seconds in binary. A field of white noise runs beneath it as ambient counterpart – silence rendered audible, on or off, the substrate against which the signal becomes legible.

“U-rays” is a series of AI photography. U stands for Ukraine, where heavy industry was always an essential part of the economy and national self-identification. During the latest war, it was completely destroyed. You can see blue collar workers, but it’s not clear if they are human or ghosts.
